These Balter 223BB mallets are part of the Shadow Series marimba mallets. These medium hardness mallets have black yarn and black birch handles. Each set of marimba mallets comes as a pair of two. These extremely well-balanced mallets were developed expressly for the concert marimba soloist. The black cord wound oval-shaped head on a long Black Birch Handle produces an articulate, detailed sound at al dynamic levels.
