The FS-IJ Ike Jackson Signature Marching model drum stick is the first Innovative Percussion marching model originally constructed with white hickory. It features a round bead and a large diameter of .720". However the medium taper and small collar make this drumstick incredibly easy to play. These ones also have the namesake included (Ike Jackson), while the newest FS5 drumsticks do not feature Ike, but they are the same hickory marching snare drum sticks with the ultimate durability.FS5 Field Series Marching Snare Drumstick Features:

Ike Jackson
Ike Jackson, the namesake of these drumsticks who contributed to the design, is currently the Percussion caption head and arranger for the Academy drum & Bugle corps, and is also the Percussion Director and arranger for ayala High School in Chino Hills, Ca. He has been working as a highly prolific/contemporary percussion designer since 1991. In his twenty-two years As an adjudicator and percussion designer/instructor, he has worked with more than 45 different percussion programs at the high School, college, and drum corps levels. As an innovative percussion arranger and drill designer, Ike has worked with various percussion ensembles all across the Southwest.
