SABIAN FINGER CYMBAL HEAVY (PAIR)

SABIAN FINGER CYMBAL HEAVY (PAIR)

SABIAN Heavy Finger Cymbals are solid bronze pairings producing ringing, bell-like sounds. This is a heavy pair appropriate for concert and orchestral settings or outdoor performance.

idiophone family (instruments that produce sound by vibrating their own material) and are played by striking one cymbal against its partner on the same hand

How to Play these Sabian Finger Cymbals?

  • Hand Position: Two cymbals per hand—thumb and middle finger—strapped so the bells face each other.

  • Articulations: Players can create a spectrum of sounds:

    • Closed click: Cymbals held flat and struck directly.

    • Bell ring: Edges clashed for a ringing tone.

    • Muted cupped sound: Partially cupped hand softens the ring.
