This line of hardware was Sound Percussions shot at offering DW 5000 style hardware at an affordable price. While it does not fully match that higher end equipment it does match some features including memory locks at all height adjustment points. This stand is Heavy Duty and offers extra long boom capability and excellent stability due to the boom counterweight. The tripod on this stand is not original as the casting on the original tripod cracked and was not salvageable. The replacement base is Meinl and matches the original in terms of stability but has black legs and joints instead of chrome.
