This USED Royce 5.5x14 Chrome over Steel Snare Drum Punches Well Above It's Weight!
What you have here is an excellent drum for a shared practice space, back up snare, etc. We've come across a few vintage entry level snare drums from Royce as well as Cosmic Percussion and Holton that have the mass and function of mid range drums and surpass many of the 8 lug entry level drums currently on the market. This particular drum has some miles on it. The chrome has some rust, some pitting but no flaking that we observed.
The shell and hoops are not perfectly in round but heads fit and seat properly and it tunes up with no problem. The drum has been wiped down and features brand new heads top and bottom. The throw off functions perfectly and the drum is completed with DW True Tone snare wires and Holy Drums Red Gross Grain Snare Belts. At this price you'll get much more than you paid for in sound and function.
