Rogers 5x14 Powertone Snare Drum, 1960s, 8-Lug, Chrome Over Brass in Good Player's Condition

This drum was school owned and therefore has some of the usual issues. There are a few non original tension rods and the shell has taken a few hits over the years. The most obvious dents have been knocked out allowing the lugs, mufflers and throw off to line up nicely. The chrome is in nice shape. This is one of those drums that will look stunning from 2 feet away but shows it's age up close. 2 panels have some ancient tape residue on them possibly from a drum shop logo or school serial identification. Will likely come off with solvent but we did not remove them to avoid accidentally scratching the shell. The throw-off and muffler work as they should. The muffler is not original and required 2 additional holes to mount. 

From a players perspective, this is a really excellent drum! This is a great opportunity to get a usable vintage chrome over brass shell without having to overpay. Contact us with any questions or to make an offer.
