This is the last of the Tumbao Pro Super Tumbas from Gon Bops. This on unfortunately took an impact in shipping causing a shell crack. This instrument was expertly repaired by Marcus Sroge and his crew at Easy Does It Furniture Repair in Chicago, IL. Structurally the drum is back in perfect condition. The repair is not noticeable from a foot away but up close, you can see the slight break in the lacquer. See pics for details. Normally a $750 drum is yours for a heavily discounted price. No one but you will know the repair is there and the drum sounds amazing!Gon Bops discontinued this model and the Tumbao Pro Series is now only available in Quint, Conga, Tumba.
