Gretsch?s Phosphorus Bronze snare drum is the heaviest drum we make, both in actual weight and in the sound it produces. A 5x14 5mm shell with a 45-degree bearing edge is at the core, providing projection and clarity like no other. The Bronze shell offers very appealing warmth to the tone but the shell?s weight is the magic behind this drums uncompromising strength and power. Additional features include Lightning throw-off, die-cast hoops, 'Snap-In' key holder, and 42-Strand snare wires (20-strands on 13" drums).
