The 6.5x14 Hammered Chrome over Brass snare drum is a great selection for drummers and percussionists who want a combination of a sharp and snappy attack paired with a warm mid-range frequency mix. The large hammered shell produces a very distinctive, slightly drier sound than our standard Chrome over Brass snare shell resulting in a snare drum that is applicable in a wide range of musical settings. Additional features include Lightning throw-off, 'Snap-In' key holder and 42-Strand snare wire (20-strands on 13" drums).
