Gretsch 6.5x14 Steve Ferrone Signature Snare Drum

Developed with world-class drummer and longtime Gretsch artist Steve Ferrone, Steves snare drum features the highly coveted Broadkaster shell, a sound that Mr. Ferrone is familiar with and uses quite often in the studio. This 3 ply shell paired with 302 Hoops releases an extremely warm yet dry tone with a great balance of mid, mid, and high frequency. When tuned loose and dampened a bit with the internal tone control, the drum releases dark and downright dirty sounding backbeat but when tuned way up, you hear a tight and pinpoint sharp attack. Its a fantastic snare drum with so much tuning range and great feel.
