Ok, Let's Talk About This Ayotte 6x14 Wood Hoop Snare Drum.

This is an absolute time capsule Ray Ayotte era drum. It's stunning how well this has been taken care of. The finish is immaculate, the hardware is immaculate and the batter hoop shows a tiny bit of wear from where it's been played but this drum was absolutely babied!

It's a little hard to tell but we believe it's an 8ply maple shell with 4 ply maple reinforcing rings. The original throw-off is in perfect condition including the handle which often shows wear on these drums. The snare wires and heads have been replaced but are high quality and in great shape. All of the lug assemblies are original and complete including the locking set screws in each of the lug tubes.
