These cymbals definitely have some miles on them. The logos are long gone but the shadow of the Dave Weckl signature is still present on the underside of each bell. The term "evolution" is no joke when it comes to these cymbals as Dave and Sabian took everything that cymbal companies were trying to achieve with the idea of "fusion" hi hats and presented us all with this ultra refined product. Substantial weights for 13" cymbals combined with a distinct profile and lots of hammering resulted in cymbals with a relatively low and warm fundamental without sacrificing muscle. When you put these on the stand for the first time it's going to be immediately apparent that these will be your hats for your next several hundred gigs.
